What a wonderful vacation!!

On the 4th of July...

we spent a lot of time

having fun at the pool....

splashing in the waves...

cruising down the beach

We wore our red, white and blue with pride...

ate pickles (and hamburgers and hotdogs too)...

and danced the night away!

We pretended to be lifeguards...

spent time with those we love the most...

and finished the night watching a sky filled with fireworks.

Beach Fun 2011

We were so fortunate to spend the last week and a half (2 weeks for Lily) on the Florida coast with family and friends! Our annual Daytona Beach trip is one of the highlights of our year and we look forward to it each summer. This year was no exception! Our days were spent swimming, golfing and relaxing - it's so hard to come back to the "real world" today!

Bear and I joined the rest of the McWhorter/Oliver crew on Wednesday night, so Thursday was our first full day at the beach. The weather was a little overcast, but cleared up that evening enough to enjoy a round of putt putt after dinner.
