Today, Lily had her first Easter Celebration. Her preschool class had a party and egg hunt. The classes took turns hiding and finding eggs on the playground. While waiting for their turn, Lily and her friends had some fun treats like Chick-fil-a nuggets, Agan’s sugar cookies, and fruit. The then got to do an Easter craft – an egg shaped frame that she got to decorate stickers. Finally, it was time for the egg hunt. Lily did a great job hunting eggs and came home with 12 eggs filled with candy and stickers. She was a little disappointed that most of the candy was chocolate – but was more than willing to share with her brother. It was a beautiful day to be outside – I think it was above 80 degrees at some point this afternoon. We are looking forward to more Easter fun this weekend at the CCC on Saturday and at church on Sunday.
