Fall Fun at School

Bear and Lily have both been having lots of fall fun at school this week. Today, Bear's class had their fall party! It is so cute to see him interacting with the kids in his class. They all got a pumpkin to paint...and suprisingly the boys were much neater with their painting than most of the girls! They then got to enjoy a pumpkin snack - pumpkin cookie from Agan's, cheese puffs, cheese, and fruit. The cheese puffs were definitely a hit with the 2 year old crowd - there's something about that processed orange snack that they just couldn't get enough of!

Lily has also been busy with fall activities at school. On Wednesday, her class had their fall party and got to decorate cookies. She made a ghost and a spider out of a Nutter Butter and an Oreo - I wish I had thought to take a picture, but in a room full of 20 4 year olds with frosting and candy to spread/decorate, there was no time for that. This morning, she got to participate in the annual Book Character Parade at the Primary School. She picked Pinkalicious and was decked out head to toe in pink - pink shoes, pink leggings, pink tutu, pink shirt, pink wings, pink make up, and pink hair. She was too cute - and she and her classmates looked so tiny compared to even the Kindergarden and 1st grade students. It was a big deal - traffic stopped, high school marching band leading the way, and they paraded around the perimeter of the school for all the parents to see. She loved seeing all the creative costumes, but in the end still said she liked her friends, Jasmine and Skyler, who were both princesses the best.

We have more Halloween fun ahead of us this weekend - a party with friends, trick-or-treating, and our church's Candy and Costumes! Stay tuned for more costumed fun!
