Lily and Bear were so much fun at the park. We loaded up the wagon with Bear and a few essentials while Lily got on her scooter and walked over to Dellinger Park. It took us a little while to make it - Lily is still trying to master her scooter, so there were several pauses on our trip over. We headed first for the playground and actually made it there before the normal afternoon crowds do. This little boy loves to slide...and he's so cute doing it!
When the playground was invaded by bigger kids, we headed over to practice Lily's scooter on the track around the football field. After 2 laps around, she's much improved! We then headed over to the other end of the park to feed the ducks/geese some leftover bread. I'm always a little nervous that either a.)one of my kids is going to get too close to the edge and fall in the water or b.) one of the crazy aggressive geese is going to attack us for our bread but we survived, and I had fun practicing with my camera while the kids their feathered friends!
Notice the huge chunk of bread in the water...Bear has not yet mastered the art of tearing the bread into bite sized pieces.
I tried my best to get a photo op of the two of them together...Bear was not being cooperative :) Notice Lily's hands around his neck in an effort to help reign him in!
