We had a great Easter today, celebrating the glorious resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We got an early start - Lily was up and ready to go by 7am. Lily and Bear got to look through the goodies that the Easter Bunny brought them. Lily got sidewalk chalk, bubbles, a Fancy Nancy book, and new pajamas. Bear also go pajamas, bubbles, a Thomas the Train book, and a new spring outfit. We had a quick breakfast and then hurried to get ready and off to church.

We had a great worship service at church. I loved the song our choir sang about being "Not Guilty" because of the sacrifice Jesus paid for all of us. Our pastor preached a great message on the "5 Things that God doesn't know," reminding us all that there is no one that God doesn't love, that none of us are without sin, and there is no one that God cannot save. What a magnificent Lord we serve!! After chuch, we had another egg hunt with the preschoolers. You'll notice only one of my precious children are in these pictures...Lily had quite the melt down after church, so Josh whisked her home to disclipine her. Bear found another basketful of eggs and traded them in for candy for he and Lily.

Egg Hunting Master

We hurried home from church to put the finishing touches on Easter lunch. Josh's parents are on vacation this week, so I invited the rest of the McWhorter's over for Easter lunch. We had ham, sweet potatoes, hash brown casserole, green beans, corn, deviled eggs and rolls. After lunch, we had yet another egg hunt for the 3 cousins. Bear, Lily, and Brodie had a great time playing together today. The hunted eggs, played in the backyard, and drew with sidewalk chalk.

The only picture I got of Lily in her Easter dress I made for her today...we are doing spring pictures in a few weeks so I'll have some better ones of the dress then.
