Treasure Hunt 2010

One of the highlights of our beach vacation this year was a real treasure hunt for the kids. Josh's cousin, Alice, was able to join us in Daytona for a few days and had the great idea to put on a treasure hunt for the three little kids. She is so creative and thought of all the details, from picture clues to pirate costumes. She took pictures of various landmarks around the hotel and used as clues for the kids to find. Lily, Brodie, and Bear each had a separate path to follow and their final clue was a puzzle piece. Once all three were done, they were able to put the puzzle together to find out where the treasure was hidden. It was great fun for the adults and kids alike.

The treasure was buried on the beach just in front of our hotel. Alice had gotten the kids all kinds of treats like princess wands, Lightening McQueen cars, footballs, and Skittles. The kids were tickled over their treasure and it was such a fun activity for them!
